3000 Teardrops - Unveiling of Dalton Ghetti's 9/11 Memorial

911 was just remembered by everyone as the number you call for help with an emergency. Ten years ago, something in New York happened that changed the lives of countless people - from all walks of life. The September 11 terrorism attack in urban cultured NY caused pain, loss, fear, uncertainty...name it, but it also conjured a new meaning for the numbers 911. Pencil sculptor Dalton Ghetti shares his memorial in a very unique way.

How does music affect the brain of an artist?

It can calm your nerves and even make you go wild. It can stimulate particular behavior by inspiring the thinking process of the brain. The further boost in actions due to this effect is analogous to spraying water on a dusty and hot land. Just as water settles the dust in the air, music acts as though layering the innumerable thoughts clogging your brain.

If knowledge is food for thought, music is the digestive system that makes sure that it is assimilated in a proper way. Then you will see the wonderful effects on what the artist was doing. Just like how fascinating the creator of Piaz jewelry, Emily Peters is!

An Alliterative Nightmare,

Do you like Bugs Bunny? Yeah, I’m talking about that that fluffy cuddly wabbit. For Disney character toy collectors, this adorable stuffed animal is carefully placed on shelves or on walls as posters, or stickers and any act that expresses their Bunny-buffed hearts.

Well, Robert Bowen’s homage to Bugs Bunny is unpredictably remarkable. Combined with his fascination with Salvador Dali, he created Corpus Hare-percubus, placing Bugs Bunny in a woe-filled position, crucified on a cross.

Now this is just one of the many astounding dark arts of Robert Bowen. Let’s explore a bit more inside his mind and discover more of his chillingly fascinating artworks in this exclusive interview.

Feature Story! Reverse Graffiti!

Paul "Moose" Curtis has been tagging up the streets with his art in a revolutionary way, by cleaning the walls. Moose has been paving the way for a new form of Graffiti that is unlike any other you have seen. It is a combination between using stencils and water, that’s right, water. Using the grime and dirt of city walls as the backdrop canvas for his work, Moose has developed a process of pressure washing his artwork onto the walls which creates a high contrast image.
