Haroshi's skateboard sculptures exhibited by Jonathan Levine Gallery

Haroshi is one impressive Japanese self-taught artist which uses old skateboard decks as his medium for sculpting. Everyone can tell that he used to be a passionate skater himself but now he’s doing art-works inspired by it. It’s amazing how Haroshi manages to create such vividly striking patterns from layering and re-shaping old skateboard decks. The amount of details and his exquisite use of color, make his art stand out.

Recently, the artist has opened a new solo exhibition at the Jonathan Levine Gallery in NewYork intitled “The Virtual
Reality”. Hurry up to see it, it’s open until February 9th.
